ENERGY CONSULTINGSOLAR PANELS

This is the most common question we hear during our energy consultations on solar installations. Another typical phrase is "my neighbor has 8 solar panels and they're doing great, so I want 8 too." Another even more radical phrase is "I measured my roof and I have room for 20 solar panels (supposedly), so fill my roof with panels, because the more panels the better." All of these statements (and many others) are incorrect and lack real technical foundation. Each installation must be unique and based on each client's actual consumption. The explanation is quite simple: if you install fewer solar panels than you need, you won't be able to cover all the electricity consumption that could be saved. If you install more panels than necessary, you will be returning unused energy to the grid.

And that's not all; you also have to consider the climate, orientation, inclination, possible losses due to shadows, etc., but we'll cover this topic later.

Calculating consumption and production is very important to know exactly how many panels you need to achieve maximum energy savings with a customized installation. You also have to consider possible future increases in consumption (electric car charger, air conditioning, aerothermal energy, and any other electrical expansion that could occur in the near future). Only then will you achieve an adequate result, with a fair investment and a minimum payback period.

If you're thinking about installing solar panels, you can contact us for advice before making a decision. You'll be surprised by how much you can save with a well-calculated installation!

Say yes to green energy, but wisely!
